Angel Horn
Angel Horn is a recovery item that pays you for taking a hit. It is not a shield you start the room with.

I would value this more in a boss room than in a corridor, because the drop happens when you get hurt. A clean room never triggers it.
Effect
Getting hurt can drop a flying heart and a flying shield. That is the whole mechanical sentence. No cooldown is printed.

Related Mechanics and Evidence
Angel Horn can supply a Shield after taking damage. Demon Wings removes a heart container for flight. One is a chance-based hurt reward; the other has an explicit health-capacity cost.
This comparison is an editorial interpretation of the cited mechanics, not an official combo test. Unknown numerical values and unlock tasks remain unknown.

Questions this page answers
What does Angel Horn drop?
A flying heart and a flying shield when you take damage, with the table’s “there’s still a chance” wording.
Is the drop guaranteed?
The wiki says there is a chance. I am not turning that into 100 percent.
