Chocolate Cookies
Chocolate Cookies drops one Bomb at the pet’s position when that pet evolves. Picking up an egg or the Cookies itself is not the documented trigger.

The individual Chocolate Cookies revision identifies the drop location as well as the evolution trigger. This is a source review, not a logged in-game test.
Effect and how I would use it
Keep track of which pets can still evolve and collect the Bomb where the evolving pet was. A failed hatch is not an evolution. Hard Mints uses the same pet-evolution event but only has a chance to give half a Shield; the Cookies effect is not that chance-based reward.

Availability and Build Fit
This is a passive first-game item. No fixed unlock floor or current-platform drop chance is given by the individual revision. A pet-focused run supplies the required evolution event; protecting eggs with Acorn is a compatible dependency, not a tested Bomb-farming formula.
Related Mechanics and Evidence
Both depend on pet evolution. Cookies supplies one Bomb; Hard Mints only has a chance to supply half a Shield. An egg pickup alone triggers neither reward.
This comparison is an editorial interpretation of the cited mechanics, not an official combo test. Unknown numerical values and unlock tasks remain unknown.

Questions this page answers
What does Chocolate Cookies do?
When a pet evolves, you drop a bomb. That is the paraphrased 1.4.6 effect.
Is this in Neon Abyss 2?
This entry is verified for the first game. Its absence from the sequel is not established; use the separate sequel index rather than assuming effects carry over.
