Neon Abyss 2 Faith and Fate Points
Choose a Faith at the Pillar for the floor. On the documented EA Agapeism path, obtaining or hatching eggs fills Faith; a full meter opens its Temple through the Pillar or a Teleporter.

Agapeism instructions are dated July 19, 2025 EA coverage. The official October 8, 2026 1.0 post separately changes Artisanism crafting. No Fate reward formula is inferred.
Choose and Build Agapeism Faith
The EA guide places Agapeism on page two of the evolution tree after completing page one. Selecting a different Faith is not the same as spending permanent first-game Faith Gems.
- Unlock Agapeism through the evolution tree as described by the EA guide.
- At the beginning of a floor, select Agapeism at the Pillar of Faith.
- Collect or hatch eggs to fill the meter; its Proxy can spawn in rooms and drop an egg when struck.
- At full Faith, use the Pillar or a Teleporter to enter the Agapeism Temple.
- Use the Temple’s hatching machine or egg trades. Leaving removes the Temple; choose Agapeism again on the next floor.
Which Faith Fits the Run?
These choices are derived from published mechanics, not a complete cult reward table.
| Path | Evidence-backed accumulation / limit | Reason to choose |
|---|---|---|
| Agapeism | Obtaining / hatching eggs | Pet hatching and egg trades in EA coverage |
| Artisanism | EA coverage links weapon vaporization to Faith | 1.0 crafting with badges creates a new affix; do not substitute the older free-weapon reward |
| Consumerism / Temple of Shopping | The sources here establish a loan, not an exact accumulation formula | Loans can support coin-dependent weapons; Grabie pays down the loan by collecting coins |
| Treasure Faith | Rule Changer says sacrifices require Keys | September 19, 2025 default-branch note; no per-sacrifice meter amount or current unlock task supplied |
Faith, Fate Records and First-Game Gems
Faith is the meter used for a run’s chosen path. The 1.0 Agent profile records a highest Fate value and Boss kills; a record alone is not a spendable balance or an earning formula. Fate Cards are a separate unlockable system mentioned in EA coverage. First-game Faith Gems pay for Bar upgrades, not this sequel Temple selection.
Changing Faith Has a Trade-off
The EA Hatchmon guide says Devotie prevents the damage cost of changing Faith at the Pillar. It does not quantify a universal switching cost. Do not deliberately switch at low health while assuming the change is free.
Fate Points: Record, Not a Proven Currency
The current sources answer the phrase “Fate points” only to the extent that they name a Fate value in Agent profiles and results. They do not publish a spend action, earning equation or difficulty-reward table. Keep that unknown visible instead of converting a profile record into a currency guide.
| Term | Verified scope |
|---|---|
| Faith meter | Run resource selected at the Pillar; Agapeism uses eggs in the documented EA route |
| Fate value | Agent/profile or results record named by official notes |
| Spendable Fate points | No verified spend action in the checked official sources |
| Difficulty rewards | No complete verified table in the checked official sources |
| First-game Faith Gems | Permanent Bar-upgrade currency in Neon Abyss (2020), separate from sequel Faith |
What the Official Fate References Establish
The June 26, 2026 patch names a Fate screen and an ABYSSAL Fate value on the results screen. The 1.0 notes name personal Fate settings and each Agent’s highest Fate record. These references establish UI/settings/record contexts, not a spendable currency, acquisition formula or difficulty-reward table.
For Faith selection, Rule Changer says Treasure Faith sacrifices require Keys. In 1.0 Artisanism uses badges to craft an affix. Keep those actions separate from the Fate display and from first-game permanent Faith Gems.
Questions this page answers
How do I gain Agapeism Faith?
The EA guide names obtaining or hatching eggs as its accumulation actions. Once full, use the Pillar of Faith or a Teleporter to visit its Temple.
What are Fate points used for?
The official 1.0 announcement establishes a highest-Fate Agent record but not a complete earning, spending or difficulty-reward table. This page does not label the record as currency.
